When my friend Averie of Towards the Moon asked me if I’d like to associate shoot her friend’s wedding reception as she was a guest, I was like of course. No brainer, I love working with her. When she went on to tell me that it was happening at an awesome rooftop restaurant in downtown Jersey City, I was even more pumped.
This was one of the most energetic and vibrant weddings you could imagine. Between the fun Hawaiian shirts the groom and his party wore, the amazing music being spun on the dance floor, and the laid back atmosphere this was a dream to capture. Everything was effortlessly cool. To top it off, the grand sparklers exit was the kind of moment a photographer can only hope for.
